The Blog train is back on and the theme for this month was Winter Wonders. Do you all have Yankee Candles? I'm in love with them – they make my house smell so good-even when I haven't cleaned
. This winter they had a favorite things (you know the song from the sound of Music) and I fell in love with a candle called "Blue Satin Sashes"! This combined with the color swatch for this blog inspired me to create a kit based on the song. Hope you enjoy it! Don't forget there's lots of stops on this great train – so get comfy! I'll post the lyrics at the end for those interested. It's a great happy song to start the New Year with!Winter Wonders

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
