A Wonderful Award

Starting September 1st SAS will be doing a download a day which you will love - the kit is from several of the SAS designers and using one color palette so at the end you will have a huge gorgeous mega kit you can use for any of your layouts from funky to heritage. Download #1(papers) is in this week's SAS newsletter which is getting really exciting as we head toward our September 1st birthday celebration! Lots to read in this weeks issue and lots of freebies too!
Download #2 (elements) is right HERE. I hope you're having fun with this kit. It can be viewed as either a summer kit using the colors of a summer sunset, or a fall kit with summer sunset meaning the end of summer. I'd love to see what you do with it, either email them to me or, better still post them in my gallery at SAS!

Summer Sunflowers Fix

If you are one of the people that downloaded part 4 elements of my last newsletter/blog freebie I owe you an apology and a sunflower! There were some errors on the large sunflower included in that file. The mini kit is still available on my previous post and is now corrected in the file.

I really got a lesson this week in why designers have a creative team. My wonderful CT members brought to my attention that working with these bright colors isn't the easiest thing to do.  I had some solids saved for the last download, but after thinking about what they said, I decided I'd better post them now so that those of you who don't want to wait for the whole kit can work on layouts and have fun with it right away. My Nana's Rock Garden kit is now free with a $10 purchase from SAS. I had so much fun making this kit! It has 103 elements - 13 different flowers with colors that pop and lots of critters, fences, trellises and everything I see out in my yard and garden! It's my favorite kit I've done so far.
